We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website and our services. Data is passed on to third parties only where we are legally obliged to do so or where you have given your consent.

This website runs on a server located in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen). Each page request is recorded in log files with technically necessary data: shortened IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser type and operating system.

The legal basis is article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and trouble free operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.

We only use technically necessary cookies, for example for the selected language. These cookies do not require consent (section 25 paragraph 2 TDDDG).

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Details can be found in our cookie policy.

To deliver this website securely and quickly we use the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Technical connection data is processed, in particular your IP address.

Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable provision of the website.

When you open the home page without choosing a language, we determine the country of your IP address so that visitors from Germany see the German version. For this we use the country code provided by our network provider or a local country database; your IP address is not stored for this purpose.

If you contact us by email or telephone we process your details to handle your enquiry and for possible follow up questions (article 6 paragraph 1 letters b and f GDPR). We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required, at the latest after statutory retention periods have expired.

For hosting and the operation of the website we work with carefully selected service providers with whom data processing agreements according to article 28 GDPR are in place. The service providers do not use your data for their own purposes.

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations exist (usually six to ten years for business records).

You have the right of access (article 15), rectification (article 16), erasure (article 17), restriction of processing (article 18), data portability (article 20) and objection to processing (article 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
